Memorial services for Mary Beatrice Rudy McCambridge, 55, of Longview, will be Friday September 18, 2009 1:00pm at Summerfield Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Charles and Rev. Bud Miller officating. In accordance with Mrs. McCambridge's wishes, her body has been donated to Southwest Medical School. Mrs. McCambridge died Tuesday morning September 15, 2009 at her home. Mrs. McCambridge held a degree in nursing from Texas Christian University. A retired R.N, she was a former employee of Good Shepherd Medical Center, Longview Independent School District, Kirkpatrick Center, and the Longview Wellness Center. Mrs. McCambridge was known to family and friends as a giving person with a big heart, and a compassionate care taker of others. She was a member of Summferfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include her mother, Pauline Rudy of Tyler; husband, Jack McCambridge II of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Courtney and Evelyn Pearson of Longview; stepson, Jack McCambridge III of Round Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Clark and Cindy Rudy of Temple; nieces and nephews, Morgan and Brandon Rudy of Temple; and grandson, Landyn Clark Pearson.
