MCCORMACK, Mary A., 97, of Richmond, formerly of Petersburg passed away peacefully on September 26, 2018.

The widow of Robert J. "Mac" McCormack, she was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lena and Charles B. Payne. Mary is survived by her son, Ralph L. McCormack and his wife Jan; five grandchildren, Steven C. Camp, Jr. (Candice), Tracey Moore (Tommy), Jamie Camp Crowe (Rob), Kimberly Sayers (Brian), and Michael McCormack (Jamie); and seven great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jackson Camp, James Scardami, Cayden and Sean Moore, Bela Sayers, and Philip Crowe.

Mary retired from C&P Telephone Company where she started as a telephone operator and worked in the Engineering Department when she retired at 55. She enjoyed traveling the country with her husband and spending time with her family. For the last 18 years, she resided at Imperial Plaza where she was a member of Glamour Girls and the 90's Club, she also enjoyed many outings with her friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 1st at 12 pm at Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA 23229, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment at Westhampton Memorial Park.
