Cos Cob - Mary Kathleen "Kate" McGoldrick (née Biggins), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and lifelong resident of Connecticut, died on March 26, 2023 at the age of 67 in Stamford, CT.
Kate is survived by her two sisters, Zita Kachadourian and Beth Quinlan; her husband, William McGoldrick; and her three children, Mary Elizabeth, Paul, and Robert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Robert and Mary Biggins; her sister Jacqueline Krofssik; and her brother, Robert Biggins
Kate was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 25, 1955 to Robert and Mary Biggins. She graduated from Bryant College, with honors, in 1977 with a degree in Business Management and worked as a Warehouse Manager for Hubbell Incorporated. On May 7, 1983 she married William McGoldrick, a regional Sales Manager for a trucking company. In 1987, 1989, and 1993 respectively, she welcomed her three children to the world, who were an immense source of joy in her life.
Kate was a devoted public servant who participated in many elections as a poll worker. She was a devout catholic who attended church every Sunday and believed deeply in the Salvation of Christ. She will be profoundly missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at St. Catherine of Siena in Riverside, CT, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in her name.
