A lifetime resident of the Bay Area, Mary passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. To the end she remained a cogent vibrant force, a truly amazing human being, and the only member of her family who could do the daily Chronicle "Jumble". She was an outgoing presence from childhood, a giving person who put others before herself. Mary had a marvelous sense of humor and a tremendous generosity of spirit. She loved her family, her friends, nature-animals, birds, Marin's hills and her Pacific.View All Photos

Beautiful obituary and loved BOTH of the images. I have to admit I never knew Mary's maiden name until now and what a very cool name it was....matched the lady herself. She remained relevant her whole life. She will be missed but she left us with some amazing memories...Christmas Eve and more. Marianne & Tom

I will always remember your mom with her infectious laugh and crazy antics. The Halloween she dressed up as a witch and scared half the neighborhood kids.
She will be missed and remembered as the wonderful and gracious lady of Longview.

I'll always remember your mom with her infectious laugh & crazy antics. Her daily visits with my mom as the 2 nurses discussed everything. The yr. she dressed as a witch & scared 1/2 the neighborhood kids.
She will be remembered and missed as the wonderful, gracious and funny lady of Longview.

Mary you were always quite the Lady - interested in what we were doing and how our families were. You were the last of the Moms and the end of a special era in our lives! You will always be remembered in our Hearts!
