Mary McPaul

Mary McPaul, 75, of Morganville, N.J., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, surrounded by her family at home. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, N.J., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro, N.J. Mrs. McPaul was born in Newcastle-Upon Tyne, England, before moving to New Jersey 53 years ago. Mrs. McPaul was a communicant of St. Gabriel's R.C. Church, Marlboro. Her beloved husband, James McPaul, died in 2001. A son, Vincent McPaul, died in 2008. Surviving are two sons, Kevin McPaul and his wife, Pamela, and Patrick McPaul and his wife, Beth; five daughters, Deirdre Berry and her husband Daniel, Alice McPaul, Jacqueline McPaul, Mary T. McPaul, and Kathleen Darby and her husband, Andrew; and 14 grandchildren, Kevin, Sean, Megan, Caitlin, Christine, Alexandra, Michael, Matthew, James, Kelly, Owen, Caden, Kiera and Neave; a daughter-in-law, Christine McPaul; a son-in-law, Steven Eichhorn, and her cat, Peanuts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1905.
