Mary Olds Meikle

Mary and husband Bob, my neighbors for many years. They´re home always welcoming to us and especially to my teenage sons who spent hours and hours creating fun projects in the huge downstairs den, in the fun gathering place they provided. Together they raised two wonderful children, Robbie and Kathy. Thanks for all the great memories and New years Eve Parties.

One of my favorite teachers! I hate that I didn´t look her up- she made a very positive mark on my life and as I taught through the years. Loved seeing her at the Imperial Theatre in the summer time until I graduated! Patient and kind. And a great teacher! Rest in Peace with Robert Redford!

My memories of Mary are as a fellow staff member at Henry Adams School in Cary. I was the school music teacher and enjoyed working with her classes through the years. She was a unique and committed educator who was respected by her colleagues and administrators alike.

So sorry to hear about your loss. She was such a nice person and have many memories especially my baby shower she had for my first baby.
