Mary Katherine Nolley, 74, of Charleston, WV, passed away Jan. 6, 2017 at CAMC Memorial following a short illness.



“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)



She was born on Dec. 17, 1942 in Boone County, WV, a daughter of the late Hollie and Dorothy Vickers Totten. She was a faithful member of Rebecca Chapel in Dunbar, WV for more than 30 years.



She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Tom Nolley; one daughter, Annette Lizotte of Sissonville; one son, Karl Williams of Charleston; “adopted” son Mark Anderson of Charleston; two sisters, Letha Brown of Kanawha City and Betty Ratliff of Kenna; three brothers, Jimmy Totten of Nitro, Okey Totten and his wife, Gracie, of Clay, and Butch Walker of Florida; and many cherished nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Russell and two brothers, Bill Totten and Eddie Walker.



Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at noon at Rebecca Chapel, 147 Moran Avenue, Dunbar with Rev. Don Gatewood and Rev. Ronnie Nida officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
