PHELAN, Mary Florence nee Slattery September 29, 1917 - July 11, 2006 (ret'd Civil Defence College, Arnprior) Passed away peacefully in Arnprior Hospital on Tuesday morning, July 11, 2006, Mary Florence Phelan of Arnprior, in her 89th year. Eldest daughter of the late Ralph John Slattery and Lily Florence (Blakely) Slattery. Beloved wife of the late Charles James Phelan. Precious mother of Mary Jane (Phelan) White (late Leonard) of Arnprior. Precious and adored grandmother of Allan Richard White of Tottenham, Ontario and Judith Mary White of Arnprior. Predeceased by a grandson Robert Paul White. Predeceased by her sister Sarah Janet Slattery Riker and brothers John McCurley (late Phyllis) Slattery and James Ralph Slattery. Sister-in-law of Peter Phelen of Ottawa and Michael Phelan of Montana, U.S.A. Predeceased by Ann Phelan Wilson and Betsy Phelan Kooyman. Aunt, great-aunt and cousin to many. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery.
