She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James; 3 sisters, Thelma, Miriam and Evelyn; 2 brothers, George and Glen.
She is survived by her 3 children; son James Lee Ponder and wife Elsa; daughter Marilyn Kay Schneider and husband David; son Ronald Earl Ponder and wife Becky; 6 grandchildren, Dana Fitzgerald and husband Chad, James Russell Ponder and wife Carin, Laura Ponder, Travis Ponder, James Ponder, and Amy Ponder; 5 great-grandchildren, Dylan Ponder, Victoria Smelley, Abigail Smelley, Hunter Fitzgerald, and Ty Fitzgerald; 4 sisters, Vera Williams, Minnie Ruzicka and husband Richard, Jean Olin, Joan Griffith and husband Richard and 1 sister-in-law Wilma Strancener and numerous nieces and nephews; Caregivers and friends, Chris Lewis, Jarneia Beacham, Shay Taylor and Mary Johnson.
Serving in honor as her pallbearers are James (Rusty) Ponder, Travis Ponder, James Ponder, Chad Fitzgerald, Steve Walters and Eugean Hinze.
A meal will be served at David and Marilyn's home at 18602 Rosehill Manor Court, Tomball, TX 77377.

Loved Mrs. Ponder, what an amazing woman. It was great growing up with the Ponders as neighbors.
Although you did have to watch out for her punch in the arm!! lol She will be truly missed. Prayers for the Ponder family.
