Mary Katherine (Evans) Pusey, 70, of Stockton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024 at her residence in Stockton, Maryland. Born on June 2, 1954 in Salisbury, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Parry O'Donald Evans and Rosalie Eleanor Shockley.

She was married to the love of her life, Joseph Edwin Pusey, who proceeded her in death on December 14, 2015. They owned and operated a poultry farm in Snow Hill, Maryland, prior to retiring and moving to Stockton, Maryland. Kathy was a member of the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, tending to her "chicky girls", selling their eggs and entertaining around the pool in the summertime.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jerscheid and husband Tim; her special child Jack the Dachshund; special daughter in law, Jennifer Larmore and husband Steve; brothers Donnie (Cindy), David (Anne), Bryan (Debbie) and Dale (Jean); grandchildren Chelsie and JP Pusey; step grandson Timothy Jerscheid (Abbie), and five great-grandchildren.

Kathy also leaves behind a cherished and beloved cousin, Ellen Harrison Saunders; and several special girlfriends; Dawn, Rosie, Connie, Cathy, Geri and Sandy.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Stockton Volunteer Fire Company, 1501 Snow Hill Rd, Stockton, Maryland. The Reverend Donnie Bailey will be speaking and we will be sharing special stories about Kathy's life and welcome others to do the same.
