Mary Gloria Reagan, 84, passed away on October 12, 2006. She was born on August 10, 1922 in Beeville, Texas to John and Thelma Benham Boyle Christakos. She was a registered nurse for 50 years and had a bachelor's degree. On September 14, 1946 she married Dr. James Lawrence Reagan and together they made a home in Beeville and raised five children. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Beeville and was active in the Women of the Church group, and a devoted choir member. Mrs. Reagan also had a love for the outdoors.She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Lawrence Reagan in 2004, and her parents.She is survived by her five children: Stephany Compton and husband Richard of Denton, Texas, Gloria Winston and husband Tom of Corpus Christi, Texas, Robbin Mitchell of Redway, California, John C. Reagan and Lawrence Tom Reagan both of Beeville, Texas; two grandchildren, Dr. Thomas S. Winston of Amarillo, Texas and Meredithe P. Stafslien of Auburn, California; three great grandchildren, Echo and Zoe Winston and Avery Lawrence Stafslien; two sisters, Maureen Hunter of Freer, Texas and Lou Avis Thompson and husband Tommy of Laredo, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2006 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Glenwood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 908 N. Washington, Beeville, Texas 78102 or charity of your choice.
