Jeannie Petitbon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 5, 2008.
Jeannie Eugenia Petitbon, 65, of Commonwealth Avenue died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton.

She leaves behind her three sons, Andrew Crepeau of Somerville, Rick Crepeau of North Attleboro and Kris Crepeau and his wife, Jennifer of Shrewsbury; one grandson, Ryan Crepeau; three brothers and six nieces and nephews.

Born December 9, 1942 in Woonsocket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Jeannette (Paquin) Petitbon. She lived most of her life in North Attleboro. Due to her father, Leo being a Captain in the Army during World War II, Jeannie also lived in other locations including Germany and Oklahoma.

Jeannie lived by the motto “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice”. She touched many people’s lives during her thirty years in healthcare as an LPN. She loved country music and going line dancing with her friends and family. Her smile, kindness and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all.

Jeannie had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved her dogs Pepper and Mia very much. She would often donate to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, so in lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: Town of North Attleboro, Attn: Animal Shelter, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

A calling hour will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 5 at SPERRY & McHOUL FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 58 Church Street, North Attleboro at 10 o’clock.

Ready to dance in honor of your Mom

Ron Fox

April 10, 2008

To Jeannie's Family and Friends,
My name is Ron Fox and I went to Woonsocket High and graduated with her. My sincerest condolances and prayers go out to you in your time of need. She was a cheerleader and a very respected young lady. Although I haven't had contact for many years, I wasn't aware that she did line dancing and liked country music. I do the same thing down here in Florida which is my home now and have for 15 years. God bless you all and God rest your Mom's soul.
Regards,
Ron Fox Class President and co-captain of the Woonsocket Football team and good friend of your Mom's.
