MARY F. SCOTT, age 77 years of Bel Air, Maryland, died on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in her son's home in Darlington, Maryland. Born on May 20, 1932 in Galax, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Annie E. (Goss) Holdaway. She had worked as a telephone operator and an investigative officer for the C&P Telephone Company of Timonium, Maryland for 36 years. She was a lifetime member of the Pioneer Club, a member of the NRA; she enjoyed reading, flowers and bird watching. Mary was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland. She is survived by: Two children- Vicki D. Gladfelter and her husband, Kermit of York, Pennsylvania Robert B. Scott, Jr. and his wife, Carol Sue of Darlington, Maryland. Ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her companion, Wendall Baxter She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Scott on March 26, 2006. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Bethel Apostolic Church, 21 N. Earlton Road Ext., Havre de Grace, Maryland with a visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 AM followed by the funeral at 11:30AM. Reverend Jonathan Flosser will officiate. Interment will be in Dublin Southern Cemetery, Darlington, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society-Harford Unit, PO Box 43025, Baltimore, MD 21236-0225,
