Mary SOLAR Obituary
On May 13, 2016, Mary Josephine Solar of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton.
Born in the year 1928, Mary Josephine was the daughter of Harry and Anna Solar. Mary is survived by her sister, Olga of Edmonton. Josephine was brilliant, innovative and creative, a beauty beyond comparison. Most important to her were her daily prayers.
Divine Liturgy Wednesday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment in St. Joachim Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton, AB T6H 3B9.
