Mary P. Sommariva

SOMMARIVA Mary P. (nee Slenko), of Clifton, died Thursday Nov. 1, 2007 at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson. Born in Belle Valley, Ohio, Mrs. Sommariva lived in Clifton for over 60 years. Before her retirement, she was employed at a telephone answering service. Mrs. Sommariva was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Clifton. She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Sommariva in 1978; and two sisters, Josephine Hinkley and Cecilia Paccioretti. Beloved mother of Eileen Fierro and her husband, Peter of Clifton, Susan Kopko and her husband, Gary of Clifton and William J. Sommariva and his wife, Susan A. of Flanders. Loving grandmother of Peter Fierro, Eileen Fazio, Joanna Kopko, Mary Katherine Kopko, Andrew Kopko, Dylan Sommariva, Katelyn Sommariva and Michael Iris. Funeral services will be Monday 9:30 AM from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church, 231 Second St. @ Union Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be Sunday from 2-6 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul R.C.
