MARY JANE SPARK

Mary Jane (DeVries) Spark, 97, a longtime resident of Park Ridge, Sarasota, FL and Arlington Heights, IL, and beloved wife of the late Robert M. Spark, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Andover, Massachusetts on March 28, 2016. Born in Chicago, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert J. and Minnie (Connolly) DeVries. Mrs. Spark, a graduate of Austin High School, worked at First National Bank of Chicago where she met her future husband, Robert. They shared 55 years of marriage. She was an active member of Park Ridge First United Methodist Church and later Pine Shores Presbyterian Church and Mount Prospect Community Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Spark enjoyed spending time with family and friends, walking the beaches on Siesta Key, and volunteering for causes close to her heart. Loving mother of daughter Karen Kreiling and husband Robert, son Robert and his wife Bonnie, and daughter Susan Spark and her husband Thomas Adams; loving grandmother of Geoffrey Kreiling and his wife Lauren, Andrew Kreiling and his wife Nicole; and loving great-grandmother of Emerson Grace Kreiling.
