Mary Ruth Spielman

Mary R. Spielman, 88, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Berne, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016. She was born on November 8, 1927 in Rochester, Indiana, a daughter of the late George and Edith (Cummings) Steininger. She worked as a homemaker raising her family. Surviving family includes her sons, Kim (Susan), Kenton, and Curtis (Stephanie) Spielman; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, George H. Spielman; one sister, and one brother. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
