Mary A. Stith,

70, Ormond Beach, passed away

Friday, October 16, 2009. She

was born on

August 31,

1939, daughter

of the late

Adam and

Mary Frances

(Chandler)

Stumler. Mary,

a former el­

ementary

school teacher

in Indiana, has

been a resi­

dent of this area since 1986. A

former motorcycle vendor, she

traveled extensively with her late

husband, Richard, and together

they would attend motorcycle

rallies across the United States.

She currently was the owner/

operator of Beach View Rentals,

in Ormond Beach. Mary was a

member of St. Brendan's Catho­

lic Church and GWRRA. She is

known for being a real people

person who loved helping oth­

ers. Left to cherish her memory

are her daughters, Julie Silvestro

and her husband Stephen, Or­

mond Beach, Mary Knight and

her husband Dennis, Hunters­

ville, NC; brother, Adam Stum­

ler, Ormond Beach and three

grandchildren, Raffaela, Gabriel­

la, and Stephen III Silvestro, Or­

mond Beach. Besides her

husband Richard she was prede­

ceased by her brothers, John

Paul and Robert Stumler. The

family will receive friends Friday

6:00-8:00 p.m. at Volusia Me­

morial Funeral Home, 548 N.

Nova Rd., Ormond Beach. A

Mass of Christian Burial will be

celebrated Saturday at St. Bren­

dan's Catholic Church, 1000

Oceanshore Blvd., Ormond

Beach. In lieu of flowers dona­

tions may be made to St. Luke's

Hospital for Cancer research.
