Mary Worley Obituary
WORLEY, Mary Jo
Died March 19, 2005 at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Al Worley; and their three children, Linda and her husband Steve, Debra and her husband John, and Kevin; and four grandsons, Brandon, David, Tyler and Jonathan. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents John and Bernice Colvin, and her brother Charles Colvin. Mary Jo was born in Muscatine, Iowa. She graduated in 1949 from Iowa State University with a degree in Mathematics. She taught school for thirty years, retiring in 1988. A committed Christian, she was active in Carmichael Presbyterian Church serving as Elder, choir member, and Presbyterian Women and Bible study leader. A supurb teacher and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was always her children's biggest sports fan. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Sunday, April 10th, at Carmichael Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, rememberences may be made to the Carmichael Presbyterian Church Legacy of Faith, or your favorite charity.
