Maryann Krumnow Obituary
Maryann Krumnow, 73, was reunited with the love of her life, Jim Krumnow and welcomed into Heaven by her Savior Jesus Christ on August 26, 2013. Maryann was born on June 24, 1940 to Marvel and William Manemann in Menominee, Illinois. She was married to Jim Krumnow on October 20, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas. They would later move to Pecos, where they raised six daughters and one son. Maryann was an active member of the Catholic Church and was a member of the Daughters of Mary, hospitality committee and a sacristan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Krumnow, one son, John Robert Krumnow, one grandson, Christopher Isaiah Krumnow-Sanchez, her father, William Manemann, mother, Marvel Shafer and step-father, Fred Shafer. She was also preceded in death by her (3) sisters, Jeanette Vandermuelen, Barbara Freeman, Marvel Johnson and (2) brothers, Roger Manemann and Dale Manemann. She is survived by six daughters: Kelly and Kermon Stance of Odessa, Texas, Jimmie and Danny Wright of Odessa, Texas , Debbie Garcia of Pecos, Texas , Nancy and Linvel Mosby of Odessa, Texas, Marvel and Jay McDonald of Andrews, Texas and Sandy and James Lamb of Pecos, Texas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her surviving siblings are Ronald Manemann of Ohio, Eunice McGrath of Iowa, Duane Manemann of Iowa and Michael Manemann of Colorado. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 29th at 7:00 pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 30th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Odessa, Texas with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Pallbearers are Gary Garcia Jr, Leon Mosby Jr, Jeremy Mosby, Zach Stance, Aaron Wright, Dominique Krumnow, Linvel Mosby III, Stephen Lamb & Adrian Leyva. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
A special thanks to the staff at MCH, Health South, & Home Hospice. The family especially extends their gratitude toward Candel and Bobby Wright, Janelle Woody, Beth Yeilding, and Father Santiago Udayar of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

In a few more minutes it will be your birthday and I can't help but miss you more than ever!!
Although I feel you all around me lately, it's just not enough. Today you gave me two beautiful signs. While hugging a resident that forgets me daily, you hugged me back! Not only did you hug me back, you rubbed my back just as you always have. Nobody but you could have done that! While praying tonight I thought, "if only I knew her favorite prayer." I went on to say the our father when suddenly the prayer to St. Michael came out instead. There you were again! Thank you Grandma for never leaving me. I'm trying my hardest to not be selfish and to always be open to anything you may be wanting to tell me or show me!
One request: please show up in my dream again for a quick hug! Can't wait to see or hear from you!

Today there was a beautiful red rose that bloomed on one of the rose bushes you helped me plant in my yard. I will never see a rose and not think of you. I feel you all around me. I love and miss you SO MUCH Mommy!!! I know you are in the most glorious home of all, but my selfishness would do anything to have 1 more day, hour or minute with you. Please kiss Daddy and John for me. I can't wait until the day when we are all reunited again. I LOVE YOU!!!

Aunt Maryann: I'm sorry that we didn't keep in contact as much as we should have and I realize that I've missed out. You helped me so much when my Mom died. When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know. Your family will be blessed to have you as their angel as I am to have my Mom as mine. Rest in Peace knowing that you made many lives better just by having you around - even if it was for a short time.

To all of mom's nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-
Mom loved you all very much. Towards the end your calls to her were very comforting not only to her but to all of us as well. I will forever be grateful for love you have extended toward her and us all. Just know that she was laid to rest beside her husband yesterday in Pecos and has finally gone home. Much love to you all.

I wouldn't even know where to start with all the wonderful memories of Aunt Maryann. She was always happy, always supportive and brought out the best in all of us with no effort. Although your not physically going to be around anymore I can honestly say you will always be with me. You've taught me so much and have impacted my life so greatly, moreso than words could ever describe. With that known, I know you will forever be in my heart to guide me. I love you so much and still have not completely accepted that you're gone but I know we must rejoice because you have obtained the most wonderful achievement, walking through the gates of heaven. You exemplify beautiful in all aspects of the word. I can only hope that one day I can impact as many people the way you have. I love you!
