Marylene E. Cabana, nee Konradt, 78, of Belleville, Ill., born Dec. 23, 1928, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Louis, Mo.
Marylene was a former president of the Teamster's Women's Auxiliary Local 633, Manchester N.H. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 53 of Swansea Ill., and Senior Citizen's of Belleville. She had worked from 1944 to 1948 at Belleville Shoe Company, she then moved to Nashua, N.H., in 1948, She worked at Nashua Plastics from 1961 to 1971. In 1978 she moved to St. Petersburg Fla., only to return to Belleville in 1995. She enjoyed visits with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, homecomings, fishing, and most of all dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Cabana; her parents, Frank Joseph Konradt and Louise, nee Nast; a brother, Stanley Konradt; and sisters, Bernice Reuschel, Alice Konradt; and aunts and uncles.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy (Denis) Paradise of Milford N.H., Henry Cabana of Belleville, Ill., Eva Maxfield of Thorton N.H., Adelard Cabana of Belleville, Ill., and Mary (Terry) Robison of Jacksonville Texas; her 12 grand-children, Jeffrey (Michelle) Paradise, Laura (Gary) Gilmore, Carol Ann Cabana, Amy (Ed) Jones, Valerie (David) Doucette, Erica (Gary) Munsey, Rebecca Boisvert, Daniel Cabana, Crystal Cabana, Heather Hughes, Patti Robison, and Brandy (Bruce) Goldfeder; 19 great grandchildren Caiden and Saige Paradise, Christie, Stephanie, and Sean Gilmore, Edwin Jr, Jessica, Chelci, Kylie and Jordan Jones, Travis, Kandyce, and Jordan Doucette, Brianna Phillips, Cody, Nathan, and Christopher Munsey and Dyllan Barrette, and Brooke Goldfeder; four siblings, Florence Clery of Terre Haute, Ind., Louise Andres, Frank(Ruby), of Belleville Ill., George Konradt of Swansea Ill.; and a sister-in-law, Rita Konradt of Belleville, Ill.
Her gentle heart and caring soul will always be remembered.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2006, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
