Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 8, 2024.
Marylyn Elizabeth Poupard (Rodgers), 86, of Pittsburgh PA, peacefully passed away on December 26, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on December 28, 1936. Marylyn will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature as well as her love for her family.

Marylyn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she spent her early years surrounded by a loving family. In addition to her school studies and involvement in her church, she studied at the Pittsburgh Music Institute where she became an accomplished pianist. She grew up cherishing the values of hard work, compassion, and dedication. Throughout her life, Marylyn embodied these values and touched the lives of those around her.

In her leisure time, Marylyn enjoyed playing the piano, reading, gardening and listening to her extensive music collection. She also had a deep interest and love for dogs, including her own dogs, Maxi and Koda.

Marylyn is survived by her loving family, including three sons and one daughter: Daniel (Cindy) Poupard, David Poupard, Christopher Poupard and Catherine Poghen; seven grandchildren: Timothy Poupard, Jason Poghen, Robert (Van) Poghen, Christopher (Alyssa) Poghen, David (Dana) Poupard, Caitlin Poupard and Marlee (Justus) Tulowiecki; and six great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Poupard, Harmony Poupard, Carter Poghen, Dillon Poghen, Greyson Poghen and Kaiya Poghen. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
