Mason MOORE Obituary

MOORE, Mason A., 52, of Richmond, passed away on September 16, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kelly Johnson Moore of Mechanicsville; daughter Paige, 18; and son, Cameron, 15; faithful dog, Jack, 2; sister, Nancy; brothers, Dickson and Lee-Smith; four nieces and a nephew; as well as a host of other relatives, friends and colleagues. He was born in Norfolk to Betty Fugate Moore and C. Dickson Moore Jr. Mason was a graduate of Norfolk Academy and VCU, and served in the Coast Guard Reserve. He was employed by Ironworks Consulting of Innsbrook, where he was admired and respected by his friends/colleagues. Mason enjoyed sports with his family, especially the FIFA World Cup and the NFL. The family will receive friends at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., Glen Allen, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 19. A funeral service will be held at Church of the Holy Comforter, 4819 Monument Ave., Richmond, on Tuesday, September 20 at 3:30 p.m., immediately followed by a private family interment at Westhampton Memorial Park.
