To the Loftus Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Mat was a friend of my son and I knew him from the few times he was at our home as well as Pennwood. He had a spark and was a warm, caring, lively young man. He will be missed by many but not forgotten. Although his time here was cut short, I hope you take comfort in knowing that many people were quite fond of him. My deepest condolences.

Matt was a special person for sure. He became a very important part of our family. He went everywhere with us. He came to Lake George on vacation with us. He came to the Jersey shore with us and was with us for so many holidays and birthdays and for these unforgettable times we will be forever grateful. He made everything better, more fun and more enjoyable just by being present. You were GREATLY loved and will never be forgotten. LOVE YOU
