Matthew Bolin Obituary
Matthew Scott Bolin, age 38, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born on August 29, 1984 to Leonard Darrell Bolin and Doris Meece Bolin Berry at Lexington, KY. He never met a stranger……. Matthew loved listening to gospel music, going out to eat and watching the UK Wildcats. He loved spending time with family and for everyone to be together. He was always happy and always had a smile. Matthew will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was a member of OHP in Columbia.
Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Doris Berry, who faithfully cared for him, stepfather; Jerry Lee Berry, one brother Darrell Bolin (Misty) of Jeffersonville, IN, one sister; Brooke Pierce (Casey) and their children Brysyn and Lillian Pierce of Russell Springs KY, two step sisters: Nikki Davis and Samantha Berry, one step brother; Jerry Conley, aunts and uncles; Donnie Meece (Teresa) Richmond, KY and Regina Harness (Gary) of Somerset.
He was preceded in death by his father; Leonard Bolin, infant brother; James Allen Bolin, maternal grandparents: Albert Lee and Lois Almeda Meece, Clifford Gene Leigh, paternal grandmother; Gertrude Sears and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation for Matthew Scott Bolin will be on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503.
Funeral Service will follow on Monday at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro David Bullock officiating.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Matthew Scott Bolin.

Doris and Jerry, Boo and Misty, I am so sorry to hear about Matt. When Mom told me my heart broke along with your all's. I keep you in my prayers everyday, but I know that he is up there in heaven smiling with his brother and running the streets of Gold. Love you guys.
