CHAMPION, Matthew Edward (Matt). Suddenly and peacefully at home on February 12, 2016, aged 47 years. Dearest loved son of Charles (Chas) Champion and Peggy Champion (nee Ellingham). Loved brother and brother- in-law of Warren and Sharon. Loved uncle, cousin and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart Foundation, may be left at the service and would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Matt's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive Napier, on Friday, February 19 at 10.30am followed by private cremation. Messages to the Champion Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

Such sad news. The Rogers Road crowd has moved far and wide but will always remember the fun time we all had together during school holidays and after school, along time ago now but still Matt is there in our memories.
