A constant in my life over the past twenty years has been no matter the ups and downs eventually you would reach out. I am finding it really difficult to come to terms with that will no longer be the case. I do take comfort in knowing a piece of you is still here and lives through Cleona. I wish you were going to be here to see the strong and ambitious woman she is well on her way to becoming. I will do my best to make sure Cleona knows how much you loved her and that you will watch over her. Rest in peace my friend, I got our girl.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of my high school boyfriend, Matthew. He was a sweet, sensitive, creative, and funny soul, and I´ll always remember the friendship we shared during those years and shortly after, when he went on to serve in the military. Though it has been over 20 years since we last spoke, the news of his passing brings a deep sadness. The world feels a little dimmer without him in it.
