Matthew Deskin Obituary
Matthew Shane Deskin, resident of Floresville, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the age of 28. Matthew is survived by his parents, Roger and Rhonda (Robertson) Deskin of Dewees; his sister, Nicole Lynn Crowell and husband Jason of San Antonio; his brother, Eric Williamson and wife Rachel of San Antonio; his grandmother, Mary L. Robertson of San Antonio; his nephew, Quentin Crowell, niece, Abigail Crowell, niece, Reese Williamson, and niece, Bree Williamson, all of San Antonio; and aunt, Brenda Johnson and husband Michael of LaVernia. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse W. Robertson, and Roger P. And Dorothy Deskin; and his uncle, Michael Robertson. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Monday, followed by the memorial service at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 14, 2016, at Vinyard Funeral Home, Floresville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Fund.

Just thinking about you Matt. I still miss you very much. Thank you for listening to me when my world was upside down. Thank you for making me laugh when I needed it the most... I still remember the first time we talk on the phone you text me and I was at the gym. You ask me if you can call me I said yes but give me a minute so i can go to the waiting room to talk. You change my life that day. We talk like we were knew each other for ever. I miss you Matt your in my heart forever.

It's been 2 years and I still miss you like it was yesterday. You will always be in my heart and soul Matt.. sometimes I wish my phone would ring in the middle of the night because I know it you calling. I miss are long talks hearing your voice and laughter.I miss you. Your corny jokes or when you try to sing Rob Thomas song. I'm smiling right now thinking of that day. Thank you for being a good friend when I needed one.
