Matthew Faulkner Obituary
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Janet Faulkner; brothers, Michael Faulkner (Brittney) and Rodney Short (Amanda); sisters, Kristen Hedge (Marty) and Kim Short and lots of friends.
His service will be noon Friday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home, with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The first time we ever meet my first thought was " who is this guy?" i didnt know he would turn out be such a wonderful guy. right now i am very lost at what say to except he was only 23. The memory that stands at the most is when me mom and boog all went to his house..... thats was the funniest thing ever... i remember not wanting that night to end. Your awesome at instruments dude. i really wish we would have gotten to each know other better. You will truly be missed. my prays and thoughts are with your family. One day i hope we meet again, until rest easy..... and keep on playing........

I really liked Matt..He was always a sweetheart to me..I worked with him at the Bingo Hall and we never had a bad night when we worked together..My prayers go out to his family...So sorry for your loss.. Toni Bindner

matt you always told me i was your best friend and you were mine as well i cant believe any of this i need you in my life man me and you would sit up all night talking about the strangest things, we traveled and took trips, partied hard and loved even harder there are no words to explain how much i miss you im going to always have you in my heart i just wish i could of seen you sooner i dont know what to do without you. you use to tell me you looked up to me for being a strong person but this time im the one in tears i miss you so much man R.I.P the realest guy in the world. :(

Matt you are truly one of the most unique people i had ever met in my lifetime. i remember meeting u at valley sitting on the steps drinking my coffee...lol.. you will truly missed.. there for a while when i had my house we hung out for a long while... but then i moved.. im so glad i met you matt rest in peace. you will be missed.<3

I didn't know you personally. In fact, when we spoke mostly it was at places you worked, but what was SO awesome about you is any time I saw you, it was always, "hey Allie, whats up?" you were really a great guy, and so funny.. and I can definitely remember you being a great musician in class.
