Matthew A. “Matt” French, local resident of Tulsa, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at the age of 27 years. He was born August 12, 1981, in Tulsa, to Marlon D. and Linda Sue Sullivan French. He was reared and educated near Claremore and graduated with the Claremore High School Class of 2001. Matt had worked as the manager for Paradise Bay Car Wash in Tulsa. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including motorcycles and riding, and anything that had to do with electronics. Loving family members include: mother Linda Davis and her husband, Matt, of Claremore; father Marlon French and his wife, Minda, of Tulsa; sister Brandy Michelle French of Claremore; maternal grandmother Sally Sullivan of Owasso; paternal grandmother Alice Faye Davis of Seagraves, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Roger Ballard officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Dave Pyket, Brandon, Jones, Clint Schober, Mark Crane, Andy Andrews, Adam Zwosta, Brad Turner, and Anthony Andrews. Committal services and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Oklahoma Chapter, 500 North Broadway Avenue, Suite 250, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73102.
