Matthew was born on September 13, 1981 and passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Matthew was a resident of Russellville, Kentucky at the time of passing. Matthew was a member of the Living Word Church in Adairville, Graduated from Shawnee Community College with an Associate Degree and Campbellsville College for his Bachelors Degree and played baseball for both. Funeral services for Police Chief Matthew Carnes Humble will be conducted Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Walnut Grove Parkside Church in Russellville with Bro. Mike Humble, Janice Humble, Jason Humble and Dr. Brian Humble officiating and burial to follow in the Stevenson Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday from 4 :00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Walnut Grove Parkside Church and Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until funeral time at 11:00 A.M. at the Walnut Grove Parkside Church.

I just found out about Matthew's passing. I only knew him briefly when he worked here in Calvert City, Ky. I am a Real Estate Agent and our paths crossed with me trying to help him. We would talk on Facebook and if I was in his direction i would call him to see if he needed me to bring anything from down here or if he needed me to bring something back here for him. He was a good guy. I know his family, friends and children are going to miss him. We will all meet again some great day.
