Matthew S. Jasinski

MENANDS Matthew Stanley Jasinski, age 77, entered into eternal life Sunday, September 17, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Albany, he was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952. He was president of Stanley Paper Company, Inc., which he founded with his father over 60 years ago, as well as president of DAK Restaurant Supply, Inc., which he founded with his son in 1994. He was a communicant of the former Church of St. Casimir, a member of the Polish Community Center, the Polish American Citizens Club, the Albany Lodge of Elks #49 and the Joseph E. Zaloga Post #1520 American Legion. Son of the late Stanley Walter and Margaret Salvinski Jasinski. Beloved husband of 53 years of Pearl Marie Mendrysa Jasinski; loving and cherished father of Matthew S. Jasinski II and his wife Kelly; brother of Robert J. Jasinski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights (Northern Blvd.), Albany, Wednesday morning at 8:15 and 9 o'clock at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home Tuesday 3 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
