Hello Matt from heaven,
We might have seen each other at your brother Daniel's wedding. From him, I know you are a nice, humorous person and a loving brother. You have brought so much fun to this world. It's sad for us and your family to see you gone but we will always believe you are living a happy life in the other world.

I didn't have a very happy childhood, at least not in the sense that my peers had. But having had the privilege of having Matt as a friend in middle school and through high school is one of the few brighter moments and memories I have when I think back.
Matt, the world is truly a poorer place without you in it. Thank you for your kindness and your generosity over the decades we've known each other, I will always remember and cherish it.

I did not know you for very long but I was impressed by your energy, drive and intelligence. You showed what work ethic could mean in New Orleans.

Matt was my first friend when I moved to Texas. He was always so accepting of me. He allowed the shy kid from Kentucky who didn't know anyone to open and feel like himself. He had such an impact on my life for the good and even though he and I lost touch over the years, I often think fondly of my memories with him. I always knew as the years went on that whatever he was doing, he was making someone smile and laugh. I love you buddy, and I will always be so grateful and thankful that God placed you in my life. I am a lucky man for having been a part of yours.
