Matthew left this world on March 10th, 2017. He leaves behind his loving wife Autumn, son Oliver, mother Susan Waggoner, father Chris Meinert, brother Michael Meinert, step-sister Brook White, father-in-law Don Williams and mother-in-law Stephanie Dupree. In addition, he leaves behind step-father David Waggoner, step-mother Paula Meinert and step-mother-in-law Darlene Williams.
As we join in the celebration of Matthew’s life, we remember him as a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was a fierce and loyal friend, meeting no strangers with a heart as big as Texas.
Our hearts will forever feel the loss of our sweet Matthew from this world, but we will be forever grateful for the blessing of his presence in our lives.

Thanks for the memories my dear friend. I won't forget you, your smile, your charm, your ability to take over a room the moment you walked in it and your humbleness about how wonderful you truly were. And you were matty. You were larger than life yet you didn't realize it. You just thought of yourself as one of the gang, when you were actually the glue of every group of people that you were a part of. You were always the best looking, funniest and most talented guy in the room....and you never got a big head over it. Just a big heart. A huge heart that loved everyone it came across. Thanks Matt. Thanks for your friendship. Thanks for the lives you touched. You left every life you came across in a better state than what you found it in. Now that is the mark of a great man. Thanks most of all for leaving a piece of yourself behind in your beautiful son. We will rally around him and your most wonderful wife and we will do for her what you did for all of us- we will leave her in a better state than that which she is in right now. We got your back buddy. We will make sure her and Olly are ok. Love you buddy. Thanks for every laugh and every memory. My life will forever be better because of you being in it. LDR

Perfect words for a life that was bigger than words can express. My deepest condolences to all that lost him that day, especially Autumn and Oliver for whom his love was palpable. And my heartfelt gratitude that I was lucky enough to have my life touched by his.
