PUETZ _ Matthew (Matt) Joseph 1984 - 2006 Matthew Puetz, beloved son of Bob and Debra Puetz of Calgary, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006, as a result of a motor vehicle accident, at the age of 22 years. Matthew was born June 5, 1984 in Calgary. He was looking forward to entering the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Calgary. Matthew was very active, he played hockey, volleyball, baseball, was a swimmer, and especially loved to golf and snowboard. He also enjoyed playing the piano. Besides his loving parents, Matthew is remembered by his brother Chad (Maryann) Puetz and their son Nicholas; and two sisters, Charlene (Pat), and Lara Puetz. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Matthew was predeceased by his grandparents, Isidore and Agnes Puetz and Dale and Eileen Rousseau. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time of sadness and sorrow.

In September, a plaque, inscribed Matthew (Matt) Joseph Puetz, will be placed on the Memorial Board in our Chapel. Matt will be remembered at the Commemoration of the Dead, in all of the Masses said in our chapel, and his name will be read at the Remembrance Day Liturgy each November the 11th.

Should you wish to visit the chapel, to pray for Matt and see the plaque, we welcome you.

Dear Puetz Family,

I went to junior high school with Matt and will always remember him as a fun loving, happy guy. Although I did not have the honor of knowing him in his more recent years, I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of his passing. Only a few short weeks ago my younger brother was killed in a motorcycle accident. It doesn't really seem fair does it? Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
