I was so saddened to ear of Matt's passing. He worked for me for quite a few years and maintained my property . He always had a smile and worked through all kinds of weather. May he rest in peace.

Matt, I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I always looked for you while on skate missions to Philly back in the 90's. The way you skated was and still is a great inspiration to me and many other skateboarders around the world. You positively influenced the culture of skateboarding in so many ways and we thank you. Matt had the biggest heart in the world... Words to describe him are strong, brave, handsome, brilliant, kind, giving, honest, wise, caring, inspiring, respectful... I've learned so much from Matt. He's the bravest person I've ever met.
My heart goes out to his parents- who raised him perfectly. Thank you for all of your hard work. You raised a perfect son!
