Enteraining Angels Unaware

On a beautiful day in early May,
I had an Angel come my way,
Little did I know that his smiling face,
Would forever be in my mind to grace.

They say God works in mysterious ways,
Who would have ever thought that day;
An Angel was in our midst.
Slowly, moving to the calling only he heard.

His Heavenly Father calling, Son;
It's time to come Home, your mission here is done.
Matthew, it was a beautiful day in May,
I thank God for letting you come my way.
I will always remember your smiling face,
You're the Angel, I met that day !

Matthew, it was such an honor to meet you in Giddings when you came to the Wall with your Battalion to pay tribute to the men of the LZ-Xray. I will always see you smiling and laughing with the others.
I'll be looking forward to meeting you again in Heaven!

Your family have and will be in my prayers, Gale Blevins
