Matthew Triplett Obituary
Matthew Isaiah Triplett, 27 of Chilhowee, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. Mr. Triplett was born in Galax on October 5, 1995.
Survivors include his mother, Frances S. Triplett; father, Danny Triplett; and several other family members.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will be in the Sifford Cemetery in Parrott, Virginia. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.

I met Matthew when I started to work at Valley Rehab and Nursing Center in Chilhowie, VA. He had an infectious smile and always upbeat. He brightened up the room, just by walking in. He is missed and will always be missed. He definitely left a void in my life and was a very special young man. Heaven gained a very special Angel. My prayers to his family for God's Grace to give you the comfort needed during this difficult time.

Matthew was a very loving and kind person. We visited Valley when Open Arms Fellowship would have church service and bible bingo. He always had a smile on his face. He often referred to my son Aaron as his buddy and he would comment often that they were around the same age. He will be greatly missed. Bobby, Robin, and Aaron Lloyd.
