Maudry Paula Conner

Maudry P. Conner, 77 of Moss Bluff, died Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was born in Erath in 1936 and she grew up and went to school in Sulphur, LA. She was a member of St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Moss Bluff, where she served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister and Catechist, Cursillo # 44 and a Fourth Day Leader of the Cursillo Movement and Coordinator of the Lake Charles Women's Ultreya.
She is survived by husband, John Conner of Moss Bluff and her 14 children; Brian LaFleur and wife Hope of Sulphur, Joel LaFleur and wife Linda of Indiana, Clint LaFleur and wife Tammy of Bell City, Bart LaFleur and wife Valerie of Walker, Jerome Conner Sr. of Moss Bluff, Mary J. Conner of New York, Loran Whitfield and husband Phillip of Moss Bluff, Paul Conner and wife Stephanie of North Carolina, Paula Oliver and husband Tom of Hathaway, Valerie Moore and husband James of Corinth, TX, Mark Conner and wife Julie of Moss Bluff, Kevin Conner and wife Jennifer of Moss Bluff, Dennis Conner and wife Denita of Moss Bluff, Angela Patton and husband Jeffrey of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Iuna Gabriel and husband GL of Sulphur, Lena Broussard of Sulphur; one brother, Steven Duhon and wife Mickey of Lafayette.
Grand children: Sarah Bennett; Amy, Amanda, Emily, Jessie, Jason and Christa LaFleur, Alise and Devin; Bobby and Mandy LaFleur-children Kade, Kyle, Kaleb; Lloyd and Christy Peloquin-children Kaili and Kierstin; Randall LaFleur, Aaron and Brooke LaFleur- children Molly and Luke; Daniel and Sabrina LaFleur, Timothy LaFleur; Paul and Kelly McMillian-children Blair, Brooke and Blake, Sadie and Steven Devall-children Lakyen and Kyle, Jake LaFleur; Keith Richard, Amy Richard and children Wade and Bailey, Phillip and Sarah Whitfield and Ruth, Aaron and Lauren Whitfield and Everly, Coby Whitfield, and Elaina Whitfield, Michael and Sandra Oliver and Jaxon, Mathew Oliver, Joshua Oliver, Thomas Oliver , Jr., Amber and Brian Fontenot and Aundrey, Breanna, Stephanie and Christina Conner, Zach and Brandon Moore; Dane, Raven, Jett and Jordan Conner, Ashley Conner, Brennen Leger, Allie, Adyson, Brayden, Brock, Brody, Bryson Conner; Kourtney, Dallas, Brooke and Claire Conner; Nathan Conner; Angelle, Eve, Johnny, Mary Beth, Conner and Dominic Patton.
She was preceded in death by former husband Jerome LaFleur of Sulphur, her parents and sister, Germaine LeDoux of Carlyss.
Her funeral will be 10am, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Theodore Catholic Church of Moss Bluff. Visitation will begin Wednesday 5pm-9pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with a rosary at 6:30pm and the Cursillo rosary at 7pm and resume Thursday 8am until service time.
