Maureen DeNardo Obituary
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Milton D. and Cecelia (Sweeney) Townley, she lived in Easton, Wareham, and New Bedford.
Survivors include six children, Stephen Russell and his wife Stephanie of Berlin, MA, Sharon MacKinnon and her husband Michael of Nottingham, NH, Sheila Scaduto and her husband Ned of East Freetown, John DeNardo and his wife Linda of Newburyport, Mark DeNardo and his wife Patricia of Mashpee, and Michael DeNardo of Wareham; a sister, Katia Nordgren of Dartmouth; a brother, James Townley of Anniston, AL; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Madeline Townley.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting hours are omitted.

Dear Katia and family:
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your sister, Maureen. We will remember her in our prayers. We are on vacation right now so we will not be able to attend the funeral mass.
We will always be grateful for all you did for Mom and our family and hope to keep in touch when we get back.
