I can´t believe it´s been almost a year. Moe was my forest friend, she was very kind and always showed interest in anything you shared with her. You only had to talk to her a few minutes and you could see she was a special person. Close to the end she mentioned her new book would be published soon, I remember saying, oh I should read it, it would probably help me and she replied it probably would. I just love her book, a daily devotional which has changed my life for the better. As I walk in the forest I often think, I wish I could tell her what a big impact it´s had on me. I will never forget her.

I love you, Moe. we will all take care of Leucos, especially my dad. You can count on him, and me. I walked with Leucos in the woods the other day. He really misses you. But he is very loved.
Thank you for having been in my life, and my dad's life. We got your boy.

I am so sorry to hear Mo has passed. She was in our small group several years back. She is where she longed for, I am certain of that. Thank you Jesus for eternal life. We will see you again. Mo!! Love, the Schoenle family

I was Maureen´s nurse for several days at Good Sam Hospital. I cared for her during my last shift before starting my maternity leave and having my daughter. I´m heart broken to hear of her passing, but know she is no longer in pain. We talked a lot about family and prayer, and she prayed over me and my family as we prepared for the biggest day of our lives. She was one of the most remarkable people I´ve ever spoken to, who valued her family and God over everything. It truly was an honor to care for her. I can tell from my few days with her that she has had a lasting impact in so many lives, and will be missed tremendously.

I first met Moe in 1978 at Bell Labs where we worked in the same organization. We have been friends ever since. I last saw Moe in August 2022,problem solving as always to spend as much quality time as possible with her grandchildren.

It makes me sad to hear of her passing. I met her through my late wife norma who introduced me to Moe. Moe attended the same Church with us in Palos Heights for a while doing bible studies with ladies. She made a huge impact on all of us. Then God had another road for Moe to journey down. Now she is with Jesus. Amen

Running at Fullersburg Woods; I would see Moe and her beloved dog, Leucos who was always at her side. We would exchange greetings; and she always had a smile. She wished me well in the marathon. What a beautiful soul. She will forever be in my heart; and I will think of her so fondly every time I run Fullersburg. She will be missed.

I'll never walk at Fullersburg without thinking about Moe. We both loved the Godwinks we saw there--birds, deer, and more. We knew her when she lived in Clarendon Hills and we attended the same church. When she moved back here we then became "Fullersburg Friends." There are a lot of us and so many that got to know Moe because that's the way she was--very caring and loving. This photo is what I'll visualize. Moe and her sweet dog Leucos. She's at long deserved peace now with Jesus who she loved so much and our prayers are with her family.

I met Moe and her dog several years ago at Fullersburg Woods during my daily walk. It didn´t take long to see what a truly kind and good person she was. I will miss seeing and talking to her.
