Maureen B. Horan

HORAN, MAUREEN B 75 - of Manahawkin, passed away November 27, 2006 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, in Manahawkin. Maureen was born in New York City, NY and lived in Glendale, NY, before moving to the Barnegat/Manahawkin area for about 20 years. She was employed as a Service Representative for New York Telephone, Queens, NY, for about 20 years; retiring in 1986. Maureen was a member of the Prime Timers, Barnegat; and NY Telephone Pioneers and she was also a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Manahawkin. She was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed traveling. Maureen was predeceased by her husband, the late Edward Horan in 2005. She is survived by her daughter; Maureen Miller and her husband, Greg of Lincroft, a sister; Dolores Gill Nigro of Lakewood, and Two grandchildren; Ryan Edward and Colleen Ann. A viewing will be held Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass will be held Thursday at 11 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Disposition: Private Cremation.
