I am so saddened to just hear about maureens passing. I've done her hair for almost 10 years. I actually just texted her phone hoping to hear a response. My heart aches for you Mike because you truly were her best friend. She was an amazing woman and was so thoughtful and caring. Who is going to tell me about the best hidden restaurants now? At least Now all of your aches and pains are gone and you will be a guardian angel to many. RIP Maureen. You will be missed.

ALA Conferences won't be the same without Maureen's smiling face in the ASL booth. She truly cared about her customers (and future customers) and was passionate about her industry. She will be greatly missed personally and professionally.

We met Maureen and Mike at our daughter's destination wedding in November, 2011. The fact that they were willing to go thru a great expense to be with Kim and Greg on such a special day tells me so much about this couple. It is so unfair that Maureen has been taken from everyone who loved her at such a young age. We can only hope that Mike can find comfort in knowing that God holds her in his arms.

Mo was the first person I met when I moved to Brandon. It was at Mellow Mushroom and we argued over UF/FSU stuff. Can't remember what we argued about, but I thought this gal called "Mo" was going to kick my butt! 7 years later, my heart hurts! I miss my friend! Mike, I will cherish all of our memories. Mo, please watch over us all! Miss you.

Maureen (fondly known as Mo) was the consummate professional...very engaging... an amazing human being...always full of life and laughter. She can never be replaced. I am blessed to have known her and call her my friend. I will miss her presence dearly. To her family and the ASL staff remain steadfast and may be you be comforted with many fond memories.
