Maureen Salveta Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 15, 2019.
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Maureen Salveta, age 56. She left us on March 10, 2019. She was born April 8, 1962 in Büdingen, Germany to Brigitte Keith and Kenneth Hirsch.

She left behind her four beautiful children Debra, Susan, Robert, and Cynthia. Her six loving grandchildren Aaron, Emma, Gianna, Caleb, Lily, and Hunter. And the love of her life Clinton Price.

Maureen loved to love people. Every person she crossed paths with she left a piece of her heart with them. She loved to crochet and knit. She was always making something and could craft anything to being brand new again. She loved circus peanuts candies and Haribo gummy bears. She also shared her love of food with her children making her famous egg rolls and Wiener schnitzels.

She grew up in Lampertheim, Germany and would travel to Schannenbach every summer to spend time with her grandmother on her farm. Later she moved to the Metro Detroit area and raised her children. She loved going to concerts with her love Clinton and spending all Holidays with her children and grandchildren.

Maureen was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She is now reunited with her Mother Brigitte, Father Kenneth, and Sister Patricia. She will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts everyday while on this earth.

There is no flower, no mountain, or sunset as beautiful as Maureen's soul. She cared more for others then she did herself at times, always putting another person before her. And for that we remember not only her heart was made of gold but soul and spirit. She carried herself with splendor smiles that illuminated onto everyone around her. May her soul rest easy and her memory glow bright.
