I worked with Mr. Bittner when he was principal at Johnsville Elementary School. He was a gifted, kind person. I remember how approachable he was....not something for which a principal is always remembered. His kindness extended to students as well. His caring demeanor and gifted talents will grace his memory for those of us privileged to have worked with him.
