Maurice "Ed" Harwood Obituary
Ed was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, graduating from Largo High School before joining the Navy. He was a charter member of Suncoast Bible Church (now Suncoast Community Church) where he started their library from his car trunk. He worked hard for years as a custodian at church and school. In his spare time he was an accomplished bowler and excelled at drawing. He had a keen memory, especially for Bible verses. He loved animals, children, and laughter.
Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth and brother James. He is survived by his children Joy and David Harwood; by grandchildren Jocelin, Natalie, Vivian, and Joshua; and by his brother Frank Harwood.
Service is Sept 7th, 2 pm at Suncoast Community Church.
