Maurice GLEN Obituary
November 23, 1923 – February 11, 2018
Predeceased by his loving wife Louise (nee Geary) (February 12, 1994), and his companion Elsa Horne. Loving father of David, Susan Reeb (Steve), Roberta Pillon (Michael), Andrew and Catherine (Michael). Proud granddad to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert Glen (Honey), Norm, and predeceased by Jean, Joan, Margaret and Keith. Moe was a WWII Veteran and served with K.R.R.C. in Europe and received the Victory European Medal. He was a retired Bank Manager for CIBC in Amherstburg with 39 years of service. Moe and Lou enjoyed ballroom dancing, now mom has her partner back. He was active with the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 594 (LaSalle) until 1985 when he transferred to Br. 157 (Amherstburg). He was also a huge sports fan; an avid golfer, a diehard Leafs fan, as well as a Lions and Tigers fan. But most importantly he was a proud supporter of his grandkids and their sports. Hey Guys. I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Mo's passing.
I always loved it when he and Auntie Lou came down... it was special, as Windsor was so far away! Always great laughs, and the old stories being retold.
I have many great memories of him, and Auntie Lou.
Loved him.
