Maurice "Paul" Houghton

HOUGHTON _ Maurice "Paul" 1953 - 2007 Paul Houghton of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Paul was born on November 26, 1953 in Prince Rupert, BC and grew up in Burnaby, BC. He had numerous challenges and dealt with them. Paul moved to Calgary in the mid-seventies and worked as a carpenter and electrician. He loved cooking and the outdoors especially fishing in the Okanagan. Paul was a courageous and generous man that strived for the best, he gave all he had. He had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. Paul is survived by his soul partner Sally; her children, Kristin and Jillian; his former wife Coreen McBride; their children, Chase Player Houghton and Zackery Keith Houghton; stepson Jared; sister Marlene and her family Doug and Teresa; mother-in-law Molly McBride; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Phyllis and Maurice Houghton. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held at St. Andrew's United Church (924 Heritage Drive S.W.) on Saturday, January 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
