A year already...and a day. I'm thankful for FB memories and I still chuckle at some of your messages. Pray for us friend.

Maurie was a good friend and always a joy to see. We first met in the 8th grade. My first recollection of Maurie was in drafting class. We sat next to each other and had fun brushing eraser shreds at each other. He was always so gracious. As adults he once told me that his grandparents (the Morgans) lived across the alley from my childhood home. We often shared these fond memories in our future encounters.
We will always miss him.

Miss you, Maurie. You were always so kind to everyone. So glad I got to know you in "our senior years". Miss our Christmas caroling. So glad you celebrated Mass prior to our "Friendsgiving ". The choir of angels just got a new tenor.

Father Maurie, AKA P.M. to me, and Maurie to most, gone to soon. You helped so many in your own quiet way. You were appreciated more than you knew. I find comfort knowing you are home, whole again and watching over your loved ones. Until we meet again P.M. Hi to Rusty.
