Max was a good man and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
May God watch over his family to comfort and bless them all.

Max
During the years I lived in Riverton, I remember you as being one of the best supporters of scouting.... and yourself as being a great scouter.... God bless your family and God bless you!!!!!

My Uncle Max was an awesome man, with a contagious laugh. He was always the life of the party, when we had our Goff Reunions, or at Family Christmas Parties Max was often Santa, his laugh was unmistakable even as Santa.
These last few years have been a real struggle for the Goff Family, with Uncle Max's sickness. Just know that now he is up there laughing like he used to, and calling you all by name. He is watching over you and will see you again one day.
My heartfelt condolences, I do not know what you are going through...I can only imagine, and I hurt for your entire family.

Dear Max. You were such a great man. You always had a smile on your face and love in your heart. I wish I could make it to Utah to say my final goodbyes. So instead I will send you the "hi" sign up to heaven! (Places hand under chin and waves)
